The world’s first Mercedes-Benz branded residence is on the way, and the swanky new skyscraper will be located in Dubai.
The luxury automotive company, which just announced a new real estate venture dubbed Mercedes-Benz Places, is teaming up with leading Emirati developer Binghatti to deliver its inaugural residential building. Towering approximately 1,118 feet above the city, the striking high-rise will span 65 stories and be constructed in the heart of the city’s downtown area near the Dubai Mall, the Museum of the Future, and Burj Khalifa.
“We are profoundly excited to be working alongside Mercedes-Benz—a truly iconic name—to develop the first Mercedes-Benz branded luxury residence in the world,” said Muhammad BinGhatti, CEO of Binghatti, in a press statement. “Mercedes-Benz Places in Dubai is not merely a real-estate development; it will also place community and mobility at its core, setting a new benchmark for intelligent living.”
According to a press release, the forthcoming hypertower has been in the works for over a year. From what we can tell from the initial rendering, the exterior silhouette of the building will be curved and incorporate the three-point Mercedes-Benz logo. As you might expect, the overall architecture will also draw from the luxury marque’s signature “Sensual Purity” design philosophy and integrate smart technologies, along with high-end finishes.
“With Mercedes-Benz Places in Dubai, we are going beyond automotive to create outstanding brand moments,” added Britta Seeger member of the Board of Management Mercedes-Benz Group AG. “With their many years of experience in real estate development, Binghatti is the ideal partner for us. Our aim with our first branded, real estate residential tower is to create new, desirable grounds that inherit our brand’s DNA and give our customers a place to arrive, unwind, and come home to.”
Even though this is the automaker’s first foray into real estate, Binghatti is currently behind some of Dubai’s most exciting addresses. The developer has partnered with luxury watchmaker and jewelry brand Jacob & Co. on its first-ever skyscraper. In fact, condos inside the tower hit the market in June. Binghatti is also building a 42-story branded residence for Bugatti, complete with elevators for your car.
Mercedes-Benz has yet to announce a completion date or pricing for the new residences. However, further details about the project will be released during a launch event in Dubai in January 2024.
